ALERT PHD PRIZE 2011
The association ALERT Geomaterials, with the aim of promoting the dissemination of the scientific research carried out by Ph.D students in the field of soil, rock and concrete mechanics, founds the ALERT PhD Prize.

ALERT PHD PRIZE 2010 WINNER
The ALERT PhD Prize 2010 was granted to to Dr. Chloe Arson, from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC) for her PhD thesis entitled Etude théorique et numérique de l'endommagement thermo-hydro-mécanique des milieux poreux non saturés (abstract), and Dr. Mathieu Nuth, from EPF Lausanne for his PhD thesis entitled Constitutive Modelling of Unsaturated Soils with Hydro-Geomechanical Couplings (abstract), ex aequo.

ALERT PHD PRIZE 2009 WINNER
The ALERT PhD Prize 2009 was granted to Dr. Bertrand François from EPFL, Lausanne for his PhD thesis entitled Thermo-plasticity of fine-grained soils at various saturation states: application to nuclear waste disposal (abstract and full text). Details and rules.
